Happy belated Halloween AND important PSA

Obligatory cute kid Halloween pictures!

Baby P as...a baby pea!

I was the farmer that grew/produced/gave birth to the little pea pod. GJ was "I'm going to be late to every Halloween party, so I'm not dressing up."

Me and Peanut in our festive Halloween-themed-Trick-or-Treat-door-answering-gear:

I have a policy against parents taking kids trick-or-treating when they can't even eat the candy. So we chilled at home and just wore the costumes for the parties.

And now, the Public Service Announcement from your fine friends at ameliorate me. OK, just me. I'm sure GJ and Peanut would endorse as well though. Tomorrow is Election Day. I have debated so many times whether or not I should post my political ramblings on here, but for now, I would like to encourage you all to go out and vote. Also, note all the places that will give you free treats after voting:
- Krispy Kreme is giving away free star-shaped donuts to those with voting stickers.
- Ben and Jerry's is giving away free ice cream from 5 p.m..-8 p.m., no voter sticker required.
- Starbucks is giving away free coffee to all those who just say they voted.

Way cute. But I was guessing that pooped pea had something to do with a diaper.

I'm all for posting (obviously skewed) political ramblings (as I'm sure you're well aware)- I'd say go for it, you'd just be inviting more of a backlash than I am as yours is much more public with blogher. I'm all about grassroots though baby!
It was great seeing you guys at the party with baby Peanut- who is incredibly adorable btw.. (loved the blessing dress as well).

p.s. Slade CAN eat the halloween candy...just not as much of it as Mark and I! I say it's just like birthday's - you buy for someone else and they in turn buy for you- it all works out in the end! It's more about the giving than the taking you see... :)

Darling baby p! It was a fun weekend.
I voted this afternoon, came home and Lucy ripped off and ate my "I voted" sticker.

I love the costumes! To bad GJ didn't want to be a farmer too! :) What a party pooper... especially when we have proof that he's dressed up for Halloween before! :) :) Happy Halloween (a little belated)

Love that costume! And I love that you dressed up too. GJ- your halloween attitude needs some work my friend. Just kidden- I didn't dress up this year either so I am a total hypocrit.

BUT- I did vote yesterday! Although, my sticker was claimed quickly by a 2-year-old shortly thereafter. For some reason, I never get to keep that darn sticker. At least Starbucks understands me. Where's my vanilla steamer?
